Mick Vranich...was a diamond in a rough ass city...I loved Mick and am honored to have known him...I was only introduced to Mick maybe 7 years ago...being I was born in the corridor in 1977...Both my my mother and father died young do to the ramped abuse of heroin that blew through the city in 80s....I am a son of the corridor...when I met Mick he was like a long lost family member...few people whom I have ever met in my travels have had such a compelling influence on my life...He was an enchanting and enlightened being...His eyes were on fire with truth...A higher I.Q. than most yet his ethics had him working side by side on building projects for the love of an honest days work...I had the honor of working with this skilled man on several occasions...he despite his excellent artisan carpentry skills never shied away from the grunt work on a job...Detroit has suffered great losses...but this may be one it's greatest losses to date in my eyes...I loved Mick...He was not only a friend...and a father figure...but he was one of the greatest real life hero's in my Life..I will never forget Mick...and I will do the best I can to try and honor the life he lived..
